Trip Report
This was tremendous fun. The southern ridge was impressive and time between peaks took longer than expected but there was no time pressure. We simply trundled along in perfect sunshine with views for hundreds of miles in all directions with our tent on our backs. We aimed for the a bealach before the last Munro as camp and were treated to a stream en route so it meant camp had bountiful supply of water. So we pitched, cooked dinner and then crashed. This ended up being the best sleep I have had in the tent to this day and I put it down to the new mat which for the first time let me side sleep comfortably.

Eclipse All-Season · NEMO
This is a big step up in weight from my xlite but for years I had wished I had got a wide one and a mat that suited a side sleeper more. I'll carry this Eclipse all year I think unless I'm bivvying.
